Our Office: The Sherman office is conveniently located on US HWY 75 south of Texoma Medical Center which is the areas’ largest and most comprehensive hospital. This office is fully equipped to evaluate all eye conditions.
*As a specialty practice, we accept appointments daily for emergency eye symptoms such as pain, pressure, flashes and floaters, infections, etc.

Dr. Vijay Khetpal, a board certified retina specialist in Denison, sees patients from surrounding cities including Durant, OK, Sherman, Pottsboro, Howe, Bells, Whitewright, Anna, Whitesboro and Bonham at Texoma Retina Center. Dr. Khetpal is the only full time retina specialist in Denison/Sherman area.

In addition, we can perform indocyanine green and fluorescein angiography, optical coherence tomography (OCT), Humphrey Visual Field (HVF), panretinal photocoagulation, glaucoma laser treatments, eye injections of Avastin, Eylea, Lucentis, Illvein, and Ozurdez as well as PDT laser and YAG laser, all under the supervision of expert Ophthalmologists in Sherman TX.
Surgeries
Dr. Khetpal and Dr. Dhoot perform surgery at Texoma Medical Center. Our operating room is capable of providing a full range of ophthalmic surgery such as cataract extraction, pars plana vitrectomy, scleral buckle, glaucoma surgeries, and laser surgeries. TMC is the only hospital in this area capable of providing the breadth of surgeries to Grayson county and surrounding county residents because of the availability of skilled and specialist eye doctors in Sherman TX. Surgeries can be performed under local or general anesthesia as needed for our patients. Our operating room has trained ophthalmology nursing staff on call and can perform after hours emergency surgeries.
